Project Overview:
Vestas Wind Systems is a Danish manufacturer, seller, installer and Maintainer of wind turbines. It was founded in 1945 and is one of the largest wind turbine companies in the world. The refurbishment of Vestas’ office space in Warrington included an energy efficient electrical fit-out befitting of their high standards.
On behalf of our client Amspec, interior design and fit-out specialists, we installed additional power, new 600×600 Robus LED lighting with motion detecting PIR sensors and also supplemented this with Buzziwing decorative lighting. We added a smart, safe, secure access control system with swipe cards and data cabling to Cat6 standard. We also modified and extended the existing Protec fire alarm system to suit the new internal layout and newly formed offices.
Key Challenges:
Working on behalf of our client, Amspec we managed the complete electrical fit-out around their tight schedule, from designing and issuing working drawings to the complete installation testing and commissioning.
Added Value:
We increased the energy efficiency of the office building through the introduction of LED lighting. Reducing emissions and providing improved light quality that enhanced the working environment whilst significantly reducing lighting bills, saving the client money. The entire project was efficiently managed with excellent levels of quality, reliability and safety throughout and delivered to the clients’ brief on time and of course on budget. All work is installed efficiently and reliably and fully tested with NICEIC test certificates supplied as standard.
