Project Overview:
Quality lighting in schools and universities is to improve concentration & performance in both pupil’s and teachers. Poor quality lighting including fluorescent tubes known for their flickering & with a yellow/orange tinge does not aid student productivity. With this in mind Gatley decided to fit new LED lighting throughout their classrooms.
Work Carried out
Over the course of a two week half term we stripped out all existing classroom lighting, installed new grid ceilings and recessed LED lighting controlled by presence detection sensors for even more energy efficiency.
Key Challenges
Working around other contractors as the school was having a major overhaul across all areas. And tight time constraints of a two week half term.
Added Value:
We delivered an energy efficient electrical fit out through the introduction of LED lighting that brings reduced electricity bills along with a longer maintenance free life span. The project was delivered to the client’s brief on time and of course on budget. The installation was fully tested with NICEIC test certificates supplied as standard.
